What is the Offer:

Any transaction of OMR 50 and above with Sohar International credit card grants you access to the monthly draw on Gold Bars.

  • New Cardholders (applied during the Campaign Period) – Must use the newly issued credit card on or before 30 April 2026 for a minimum transaction of OMR 50 (in Oman or abroad) to enter the lucky draw for a goldbar voucher.
  • Existing Cardholders – Any transaction of OMR 50 or more made with an existing Sohar International credit card during the Campaign Period (in Oman or abroad) entitles the customer to a single entry in the monthly lucky draw for a goldbar voucher.
  • Draw Details – The draw is held at the end of each month at Sohar International’s premises in Muscat. Winners are notified by SMS or phone call to their registered contact details and must collect the prize at the same premises. A winner is excluded from further draws for the remaining months of the Campaign.

Terms and Conditions

  • The Campaign runs from 12 February  2026 to 30 April  2026 (both dates inclusive) (“Campaign Period”).
  • These Campaign Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the Campaign and apply to you to the fullest extent permitted by law.

New Customers

  • Applicants who submit a fresh application for a Visabranded credit card (e.g., Visa Gold, Visa Platinum, Visa Signature, Visa Infinite, Visa 3% Cashback, Visa Zahiya, Visa Zahiya Plus) during the Campaign Period.
  • Eligibility is verified by the Bank confirming (i) approval of the new card application and (ii) at least one qualifying transaction of OMR 50 made before 30 April 2026.
    Existing Cardholders
  • Persons who already hold a Sohar International credit card at the start of the Campaign Period.
  • Eligibility is verified by the Bank matching the card number with its customer database and confirming at least one qualifying OMR 50 transaction during the Campaign Period.

  • An entry is earned for each individual transaction of at least OMR 50 performed in a given month.
  • A transaction of OMR 100 counts as one entry, not two.
  • Multiple smaller transactions that together equal OMR 50 do not generate an entry.
  • ATM withdrawals are excluded.
  • Corporate credit cards are excluded.

  • Winners receive a voucher for a goldbar worth the advertised amount.
  • The voucher is nontransferable, cannot be redeemed for cash or any substitute, and is valid for 60 calendar days from the date of issuance.
  • Failure to redeem within the stipulated period results in automatic forfeiture.
  • The voucher must be presented at the designated collection point for redemption.

These Terms constitute a contract exclusively between Sohar International Bank SAOG and the participating customer. No third party shall be deemed a party to this contract or entitled to enforce any of its provisions.

  • The Bank may amend, cancel, suspend or terminate the Campaign at any time, with or without notice.
  • The Bank reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for breach of the Terms, suspected fraud, or any conduct the Bank deems inappropriate.
  • If a selected winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within the stipulated time, or is otherwise ineligible, the Bank may select a replacement winner and utilise the prize in any manner it deems fit without further liability.
  • All decisions of the Bank regarding the Campaign are final, conclusive and binding.

  • You consent to your data being stored, transferred and processed (in Oman or overseas) by the Bank and authorized third parties for the purpose of administering the Campaign.
  • No right is granted to use the Bank’s name, logo or images without explicit written approval.
  • Public announcements regarding the prize or the Campaign require prior written consent; breach may lead to immediate forfeiture of the prize.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Bank shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising in connection with the Campaign, except for liability that cannot be lawfully excluded.

  • The Campaign Terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman; any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Omani courts.
  • The Bank’s general Terms and Conditions for the Sultanate of Oman and any separate terms available on www.sib.om.com continue to apply, including all rates, fees and charges.

Each of the terms set out above must be met for participation. This document, together with the Bank’s general Terms and Conditions, constitutes the entire agreement between the Bank and the participant.
