Eligibility

This offer is exclusively for the Omani employees of government, semi-government or private sector companies in the bank’s list of approved companies.
Expatriates can benefit from this product at 6% subject to being an employee from the bank’s list of approved companies.
Minimum age of availing loan is 18 years.
Maximum age at the time of loan maturity is 60 years.
The promotion is applicable for Omani customers (only new customers) with minimum salary of OMR 400.
Debt Service Limits would be as per CBO guidelines (50% for customers without Housing Loan & 60% for customers having Housing Loan).
Applicable for salary customers employed in Sohar International’s approved list of companies
Premature closure of loan accounts would be as per CBO guidelines

Expatriates - Resident card and passport + copy with valid visa
Salary transfer letter from employer if employed
Letter of liability from current bank - if applicable
Salary statement for the last three months stamped by the current bank
