Open a Fixed Deposit Account and deposit up to RO 60k and receive an interest rate of 6% p.a.

The minimum deposit amount required to open a Fixed Deposits Accounts under this offer is OMR 1k and Maximum is OMR 60k. A customer can open only one Fixed Deposit Account under this offer. Any amount more than RO 60k or 2nd Fixed
Deposit applied by the same customer will be offered at card rates.
Interest and principal will be credited at maturity (after completing 6 months) to customers’ operative accounts.
The deposit amount should be fresh money. Transfer between internal Sohar International and Sohar Islamic accounts are not allowed. Not applicable on funds from matured existing Fixed Deposits.
Customer can open the account through branches and mobile banking
No renewal / Automatic renewal on Fixed Deposit under this offer.
Backdated placement of the Fixed Deposit is not permitted.
In the event of premature closure, the Bank shall apply a penalty equivalent to a reduction of 1% from the applicable interest rate, calculated on the actual period the deposit was maintained, or such other rate as determined by the Bank whichever is lower.
Sohar international and Sohar Islamic staff are excluded.
The Bank has the right to cancel the promotion / offer before the published end date, without any liability whatsoever on the Bank.
