Home Check-In

Q1: What is Home Check-In?

A premium service where cardholders can complete their flight check-in from home, residence, or office within Muscat City or Salalah. A representative from TRANSOM visits the passenger to collect travel documents and baggage, issues the boarding pass, and ensures a seamless and hassle-free airport experience.

Q3: Is baggage included?  

Yes. Bags are tagged and securely transferred to the airport.  

 

Land & Leave

Q1: What is Land & Leave?  

A premium arrival service where passengers can disembark from their flight and leave the airport without waiting for their baggage. A TRANSOM representative collects the passenger’s checked luggage directly from the baggage belt, completes customs clearance on their behalf, and delivers the baggage safely to their home, hotel, or office within Muscat City or Salalah.

Q2: Benefits for customers:  

  • Faster airport exit 
  • Dedicated support staff for baggage handling  
  • Immediate transfer to onward transport  

Question 3: which airlines are applicable to enjoy the service?  

Note: Home Check In & Land & Leave services will be applicable at Oman Airline & Salam air.

Questions 4: Can the customer book the ticket through a travel agent?

Yes, However, it is important that the ticket clearly shows that the transaction was issued through Oman Air or Salam air. Customer to provide a copy of the ticket to call centre for verification purpose.
 
Meet & Assist (Oman Airport)

Q1: What is Meet & Assist?  

A premium airport concierge service that provides personalized assistance to passengers during departure, arrival, or transit.
A trained MARAHEB representative greets passengers at a designated meeting point (such as the terminal entrance, check-in area, or arrival gate) and offers end-to-end guidance throughout the airport journey.

Q2: What does the service include?  

  • Fast-tracking through immigration and security  
  • Porter assistance for baggage  
  • Escort to lounges, boarding gates, or onward transport  
  • Dedicated hospitality at arrival gates  

Q3: Who can use this service?  

  • Infinite cardholders, and Families, children   
  • Eligibility: No minimum spend required.  
  • Signature & Infinite cardholders, and Families, children   
  • Eligibility: Minimum spend of 350 OMR required to enjoy the service.  
    Booking: Services can be booked directly via Sohar International Call Center.  

Baggage Rules

  • Maximum baggage allowance: 4 pieces.  
  • Additional baggage charges: Paid by the cardholder.  
  • Excess weight charges: Paid by the customer.  
  • Weight allowance follows airline rules.  
  • If the customer’s ticket does not include baggage allowance, standard airline charges apply.
